SEAI Grants
Carrig Energy Consultancy will provide professional and productive liaison with all key stakeholders; business owners, contractors, SEAI, homeowners, participating energy suppliers through all stages of the Energy Upgrade Process. We will also manage financial and billing of projects, Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP), site inspections pre, mid and post works, contract, bid/Tender applications, establishment and management of community commercial initiatives and relationship building across all levels in an open, professional and engaging manner.

Access to Voucher Scheme for Energy Audits for €2,000 for businesses with energy bills greater than €10K per Annum.

Requirements
Commercial
Each premises must adopt a Fabric First approach to its energy upgrades and grant application. SEAI will require the premises to address insulation levels in its fabric/facade before considering heating, ventilation, refrigeration and energy production upgrades.
Each business must carry out an independent Energy Audit to demonstrate current energy usage and upgrade measures required. Scopes of work shall then be drawn from the Energy Audit Report and quotations to match.

Domestic Grants
Carrig Energy Consultancy can provide access to, and full project management of Domestic Retrofit Schemes funded by SEAI through the Communities Energy Grants Scheme.
We can also provide access to homeowners who wish to avail of the National Housing Retrofit One Stop Shop Scheme.
Carrig Energy Consultancy will assess the requirements of your home and advice on funding options. We then help you through the funding application process simply and easily and manage the complete energy upgrade process from initial contact to sign off on completion.

Requirements
Domestic
Each homeowner must adopt a fabric first /whole house approach in order to qualify for grant funding through its schemes with SEAI. Carrig Energy Consultancy do not facilitate single measure grant applications and there are no grants available for windows and doors as a single measure. BER rating of B2 with a minimum uplift of 100 kWh /m2/yr. and a Heat Loss Indicator of below 2 must be achieved in order to qualify for grant approval.
Each home must undergo a Technical Assessment in order to determine current energy usage, BER rating and heat loss indicator. The report generated from this assessment will determine the homes pathway through the upgrade measure in order to reach required standard set out by SEAI. Each home will be managed through this process by Carrig Energy Consultancy, we will take the pain away of the paperwork and ensure that each homeowner is supported every step of the way.

The SEAI Community Energy Grant supports energy efficiency community projects through capital funding, partnerships, and technical support. The programme supports new approaches to achieving energy efficiency in Irish communities through supporting the upgrade of homes, community buildings and businesses right across Ireland to become more energy efficient and reduce costs.
The initiative aims to deliver energy savings to homeowners, communities, and private sector organisations. All projects should be community oriented with a cross-sectoral approach. You must show that you can sustainably finance the proposed project.
