We also assist homeowners and businesses to access funding, exercise compliance, increase energy efficiency, be compliant with new and upcoming environmental and sustainability legislation and allow you to drive onwards while saving you money.

..This is just one part as the hard labour of getting solid fuel has been removed & I no longer need home heating oil.My home is a standard 1980’s bungalow which was always cold. This is not the case anymore; it is now at a very comfortable temperature all the time. The control unit is easy to work, and the temperature can easily be adjusted if required. The air quality in the house is excellent so much that I have not suffered with any sinus infections since it has been installed, something I was plagued with beforehand. Kanother Development Group is a voluntary organisation in Killeedy Parish that has recently completed the full refurbishment of the old Ashford Tavern with a budget of just under a half million euro. Refurbished to the highest specs , it engaged Marcella and Martin from Carrig Energy Consultancy with ECTC to carry out all the works that were funded by SEAI. The works require a very high level of technical, regulatory and financial competence along with the ability to deal with the various skill sets of different sub contractors around underfloor heating, heat pumps , external cladding for old building etc...

A qualified architectural technician with all the necessary warm personality traits to deal with community volunteers, so many different contractors and the very complex requirements around SEAI compliance, she did what we now know is next to near impossible for a voluntary organisation to execute. We are Carrig Energy Consultancy. We are a team of energy specialists who work with SEAI clients and businesses to help them access grant funding that will help them to realise their energy masterplan. 

We assess clients’ needs and requirements while considering the plan that is viable and right for them. We identify the correct route. We take the pain out of the paperwork and help them move forward with qualified experience of 10+years, sector knowledge and active immediate support.

This allows clients to access funding that will work for them and allow them to move forward in an informed, structured, focused, and progressive manner. They can rest easy in the knowledge that they are supported every step of the way and we are only ever a call away.
